On the morning of June 19, as 117 graduates of Beihang Hangzhou Innovation Institute Yuhang celebrated their commencement, faculty, staff, institute leaders, and alumni representatives witnessed this important moment and sent best wishes to the Class of 2022.

The documentary video The Wish List premiered at the ceremony. The video showed a student’s cherished experience on campus as she checked off her graduation bucket list that took her to the many places that would remain memorable in graduates’ shared memories.

Ma Jinxi, Dean of the institute, Hu Qinglei, head of the School of Informatics, and Luo Xiling, head of the School of Civil Aviation, presented awards to the nominees of the outstanding graduate students and volunteers, encouraging them to shoulder responsibilities and take confident strides into a future defined by themselves.

In her speech, Yang Wenxue from the School of Informatics brought back memories on campus and expressed her gratitude to the university and the institute.

Professor Zhou Miao from the School of Science shared stories of his student years and called on students to plan the future path well and remain committed to it. He hoped all could forge ahead with gratitude and courage in the journey ahead.

He Yibing, an alumni representative and president of the Beihang Zhejiang Alumni Association, recalled his university days and the hardship of his startup career and encouraged the graduates to pursue their ideals and make unremitting explorations.

Dean Ma Jinxi thanked students for the two years spent on this new campus where facilities were built from scratch. He hoped the graduates to "have a broad horizon, an innovative spirit, and the perseverance through hardship".
